Day of Schlieren Research

The Day of Schlieren Research is a unique event in Schlieren that brings together the scientific community in an open and collegial atmosphere. It is an interdisciplinary initiative open to all research divisions of UZH, USZ, ETH, and partner institutions.

Held annually on the Schlieren campus, the event features presentations by early-career researchers, invited keynote lectures, workshops, industry sessions, award ceremonies, and a networking apéro, among other activities.

Below are some impressions from last year’s Day of Schlieren Research, which took place at the Roche Conference Center and hosted more than 200 participants.

The 3^rd Day of Schlieren Research will be held on July 1^st, 2026. We warmly invite you to take part and enhance your visibility within the thriving research community of the Schlieren Campus (information will follow in due time).
